Direct Corporate Clothing posts record turnover of £90m

The UK’s largest independently owned specialist workwear, uniform and PPE provider has posted a record turnover of £90m.

Direct Corporate Clothing has posted a turnover of £90.6m for the year to March 31, up from £27.6m in 2020. Pre-tax profits climbed from £1.4m to £30.6m over the same period.

A statement signed off by the board said that the performance was “due to the increase in turnover generated from the sale of PPE during the year”.

It added: “Trading has remained strong and the business is focused on growing revenues with its existing as well as new customers.

“The business has developed a strong pipeline of potential customers and is working on this to ensure that the tendering process is robust.”

This surge in sales follows DCC’s acquisition of Incorporatewear from the Workwear Group in March 2021.

DCC operates a 72,000sq ft warehouse and head office from Oldbury in the West Midlands.
