September 2021 is the start of a new era for road shows at AJS, although no stranger to this type of exhibitions, this time the show is a 100% dedicated Tajima machinery show, giving a taster of what the future of embroidery will be like. The official launch of the Multi Head TMEZ Machines should have been late 2020 but due to the pandemic this could not be achieved safely.
The idea of the road show is to bring the new range of machines closer to the customers in a safe and COVID-compliant area, all the shows have been located in well known hotels and convenient, and easy to find locations around the UK and Ireland. A number of AJS staff will be on hand to explain the new and innovative features of the machines and to run jaw dropping designs on challenging fabrics.
The benefits of the i’TM system that is deployed on the TMEZ machines (intelligent thread management system) are to give the optimum amount of thread and tension at the precise time every time on all stitch effects eliminating the need for a fully experienced operators to adjust and amend tensioning, thus giving an unparalleled consistency over all needles and heads on the machine, the thread is supplied to the sewing cycle in advance of the next stitch via a series of electronically controlled magnets, all parameters can be downloaded and used on other TMEZ machines no matter what head configuration. The other feature that sets the TMEZ in a different league is the DCP (Digital Controlled Presser Foot) this feature controls the presser foot height reducing the fabric flutter. Fabric flutter or flagging is the gathering of excess garment material in or around the design, the DCP can be manually set via the library of settings or fully automatically controlled, the ability to download, and save to other machines is another benefit to get the same consistency across the entire TMEZ production machines.
Pulse Automation software will also be available at all the shows giving an insight into how to personalise online and deliver ready to run designs from order to the machines in seconds. A unique plug-in for Shopify and WooCommerce sites will also be on show.
